I know making the decision to come to counseling can be difficult, scary, and confusing. My goal is to alleviate some of that nervousness before coming by letting you know a little about me. 

 

 I have had the privilege of working with families in different capacities for approximately 20 years. For the first several years I focused my work in counseling children, teens, and adults who had experienced trauma.  

 

For the past five years, I have also had the opportunity to help first responders and military/veterans in counseling and peer support settings. I have provided CISM debriefings and one on one interventions. I have also used EMDR advanced protocols with this population to alleviate symptoms as a result of repeated exposure to traumatic experiences and moral injury. These interventions can be used individually and in group settings.

 

I am confident that by working together we can get you started on your journey of healing. Finding someone you can open up to is a personal choice, if you feel I am not a good fit for you, I will help you find someone else. Your healing is about you.
